ROUTE 52 PILSNER
Our Route 52 delivers its name from the First State's very first scenic by-way. The community is rich in history, art and beauty. Our location and historic setting inspire us to craft a beer that reflects our heritage. From our traditional American style pilsner recipe to the painstaking effort we put into hand crafting this great pilsner, we feel Twin Lakes Brewery is Preserving the Art of Brewing.
With pure deep rock well water and full flowered hops, Twin Lakes is a light golden Pilsner lager beer. Clean, crisp and very drinkable Route 52 brew will soon become the local favorite. Our Route 52 Pilsner has a clean taste that is lightly flavored with hops bitters and a lemon citrus aroma. Carbonated to the American palate with a pleasant tart, sour or even puckering lager style yeastiness, this is a truly dry beer with a smooth texture and balanced sweetness.
Pairs well with spicy summer foods

GREENVILLE PALE ALE
Our Brew Master, Jack Wick, said, "You should name a beer after the town it’s brewed in." So we did. The name Greenville Pale Ale represents both our local roots in Greenville, Delaware and our commitment to green technology for the future. With help from The Green Energy Fund of Delaware we're working to create a truly "GREEN" beer. In addition to solar energy, Twin Lakes is locally produced, which means an even smaller carbon footprint, and a lower price for you.
Greenville Pale Ale is a traditional American style Pale Ale, rooted in the Pacific Northwest brewing heritage. The light colored medium bodied ale uses whole flower cascade hops with an all natural two-row barley malt. This produces a light Pale Ale that explodes with rich full flavor. This refreshing ale has an immediate floral-citrus taste that comes from using the cascade hops. It's been described as light, musty, and fresh with pale barley malt flavor, a balanced sweetness and a hint of smoke; a citrus orange appeal with a subdued fruitiness and an ale yeast finish. This ale's caramel flavored body and light carbonation combine for extreme drinkablity.
Pairs best with fish

TWEEDS TAVERN STOUT
Tweeds Tavern Stout is named after the historic Tweeds Tavern, which was the first tavern in the first state. This tiny inn provided a favorite meeting place for early American farmers and ship-owners to meet and do business. The patrons enjoyed the stout that was brewed on the premises. There is currently a state park on the location. To honor this history, Twin Lakes now brews an American Stout fashioned in the Pacific Northwest style. Tweeds Tavern Stout is a truly delicious drinkable dark beer.
Tweeds Tavern Stout features mellow, mild and milky sweet ale yeastiness; a pleasant roasted malt chocolate elegance and a smoothly balanced body. The subtle but pervasive carbonation produces a thick rich foamy mocha head that clings to the glass. We use four varieties of whole flowered hops to bring on an extremely bitter, expertly balanced coffee like finish. Classy and full flavored Tweeds Tavern will quickly become your favorite dark beer.
Pairs especially well with broiled or roasted fish, chicken, pork or ham
WINTERTHUR SPRING WHEAT
People familiar with Delaware’s Brandywine Valley Scenic Byways will also be familiar with the name Winterthur. Inspired by Winterthur's rolling fields, we named our wheat beer after this American country estate. The estate is now a museum and nature garden open to the public. In addition to its architectural beauty, Winterthur also features the art of such noted local painters as George "Frolic" Weymouth, who's painting "Wheat" is on our label.
The sparkling, spicy, and sharp flavor of our Spring Wheat is deliciously balanced by its soft foamy head and downplayed yeastiness. It opens like many Twin Lakes beers with a bright citrus taste and a full dry flavor. This thirst quenching ale is smartly hopped and crisp with hints of clove and coriander spice. The carbonation is fizzy and sharp, leaving a fine Brussels lace down your glass as you drink. We consider Winterthur to be an easy introduction to the Wheat Beer style.
Pairs with summer salads and Indian and Asian foods

CAESAR RODNEY GOLDEN ALE
Delaware's most famous patriot lends his name to our Golden Ale. To honor this man who was renowned for his good humor, vivacity, generosity of character, integrity, and patriotism, we craft our Caesar Rodney Golden Ale in true American style.
Our Golden Ale is fresh, fruity and zesty with a pleasant yeastiness. A creamy texture and medium body combine for a smooth mouth- friendly result. From the clean initial taste through the subtle mustiness of the finish, Caesar Rodney almost conceals its warm alcoholic thrust of seven and a half percent. Beer drinkers love the pungent hoppiness and complex fruity aromas of peach and grapefruit. A thick, rich foamy head caps the multi-hued golden body and leaves lace in your glass and a mellow finish. This beer is a Golden Ale worthy of a hero.
Pairs well with light summer fare such as green tossed or cold pasta salads
